This kaupapa started with observing growing division within our communities and a desire to nurture more mutual listening, understanding and respectful connection across difference. Our very small team all have a heart for making the world a better place.
Tricia has done that one birth, one family, one conversation at a time as a midwife. Margy-Jean enjoys supporting people to turn their vision or concern into community-led action while learning together. Kathryn brings her research librarian weaverbird strengths to finding useful books/resources to expand our learning. Amy is an artist and sustainability enthusiast who feels the sustainable way forward is through connection and shared understanding through difference. Helping people connect across differences is the latest expression of Barbara’s longstanding concern about the complex crises that are impacting the planet. We are all on this journey of learning new ways of communicating and connecting.
