Hello lovely people!

My name is Samantha & I grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains. I am a singer & musician who has performed in rock bands, a capella groups, choirs and drumming groups over many (many!) years.

Following my own healing journey & soul song, I was naturally led to the self-healing aspect of using the voice and sacred sounds. I developed a deep passion for yogic studies, mantra chanting & rituals through the Satyananda lineage, which led me to fall in love with devotional music in the form of Kirtan (a call & response style singing meditation).

I currently play with like hearted musicians in the group “Kirtan on Kailash” in the Blue Mountains & with other kirtanists throughout Sydney and beyond.

Drawn into studying the healing benefits of sound through music over the past five years, “Bhavani Sound” was birthed. Bhavani meaning “the source of creative energy”, the Divine Mother.

Bringing together the elements of voice, mantra, heart-felt rhythms on the handpan, tibetan bowls and many other melodic instruments, I offer sound journey’s that subtly summon dreamy & cosmic sounds. Allowing participants the opportunity to come into a more relaxed, peaceful & harmonious space within.
