Big Brothers Big Sisters Australia (BBBS) is a non profit organisation that provides long term mentoring for vulnerable young people who need support. We help reduce loneliness and isolation of young people by creating meaningful connections through one-to-one mentoring.
What makes this program unique is it’s long term commitment. The volunteer and young person committing to catching up for an hour, once a week for a minimum of 12 months. Many matches continue on for many years, even for life.
Our Vision
For vulnerable young people in Australia to have the opportunity to unlock their potential, creating a brighter future for themselves and their community.
To provide vulnerable young people with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships, that change lives for the better, two people at a time.
