Welcome to Binna Burra, a world heritage nature destination. We take immense pride being the stewards of the Binna Burra Cultural Landscape here in Woonoongoora, Lamington National Park, Queensland, Australia.
After facing a challenging period when we had to temporarily close our doors for 12 months starting from 8th September 2019 due to devastating bushfires, we reopened in September 2020, faced the COVID pandemic, damage from a rare tornado event in December 2023 and substantial damage from Cyclone Alfred in March 2025.
But we are still open to welcome you into the Scenic Rim hinterland!
As we continue the post cyclone recovery, our award-winning Sky Lodge apartments are here for your enjoyment, along with our campsite which offers a cosy and inviting setting for your adventures into the national park. The renovated Tea House cafe remains open with reduced daily trading hours.
Our Tiny Wild Houses and Safari Tents are still under repair from the cyclone damage and should be back online towards the end of 2025.
Binna Burra invites you to discover the wonders that await in our backyard. Come and experience the warmth, beauty, and friendly hospitality that make us truly special. We can’t wait to welcome you with open arms and share the magic of Binna Burra with you.
