Biodiversity McLaren Vale works collaboratively with local community, industry and  government to deliver positive environmental outcomes in the Wilunga Basin Catchment of McLaren Vale.

We focus our efforts on restoring the 3 main creek lines in the region - Pedlar, Maslin and Willunga.

This regeneration has the following benefits:

  • Protecting and enhancing the biodiversity of privately-owned land within the McLaren Vale landscape
  • Improving the appearance of our region, particularly around grape and wine properties
  • Enhancing the credentials of McLaren Vale’s regional eco-wine tourism brand
  • Raising the region’s biodiversity score, as captured by the McLaren Vale Grape Wine & Tourism Association’s Sustainable Winegrowing program
