The BHU is a 50 year old organic farm based in Lincoln, dedicated to providing training and education in organic agriculture.
Our 10 ha / 25 acre organic farm was founded in 1976 by Bob Crowder, a lecturer at Lincoln University and a student Tim Maples, and has been managed organically ever since.
We teach fees-free certificates in organic horticulture (Level 3 and 4) and undertake a wide range of research and extension under our research arm the BHU Future Farming Centre.
