Bookmark Kāpiti celebrates the people, stories and places of Kāpiti.

Showcasing creative diversity with workshops, talks and performances for children, young people and adults, from wild Pāekakariki to sunny Ōtaki!

Important Ticketing information:

We want to ensure our events are as accessible as possible to any income level.

In order to ensure sustainability, we have a limited number of concession tickets per event.

Please only use this option if the general ticket price would prevent you from otherwise being able to attend.

This is also why we have created the ‘tip jar ticket’ option.

It’s a great way of paying it forward to help us keep the festival accessible.

On all our free events, you will find a donation option.

If you want to support the festival so we can continue to share great stories, from talented people, in our beautiful community next year – we would be extremely grateful for your support.

We can’t wait to see you at Kāpiti’s first ever book festival.
