Brainwave Trust Aotearoa supports decision makers, kaimahi, parents and wider whānau with evidence-based information drawn from the latest scientific child development research, mātauranga Māori and lived experience. We gather research, build resources, and develop educational workshops and wānanga to help navigate the early years and beyond, supporting lifelong wellbeing of tamariki, and better societal outcomes across the board.
Focusing on child development and wellbeing education, we explore how pēpi, tamariki and taiohi develop, and how their experiences impact them, now and into the future. Brainwave is a charitable trust that aims to educate everyone involved in the life of a child about the importance of early experiences on child development and their lifelong impact.
