not about finding this part of ourselves, but rather a journey of uncovering it
through practice, dedication and compassion."
I faced
significant challenges with mental health, anxiety, and substance abuse during
my 20s, which propelled me on a deep journey of self-discovery. In my quest for
understanding, I became fascinated with the intersection of modern Western
science and traditional Eastern practices, and how they can be woven together
to create meaningful transformation.
While my
studies in Western techniques within both counselling and behavioural science
are invaluable, I realised something crucial was missing: the body’s role in
healing and the importance of connecting with our internal states. This insight
shifted my focus, and drawing on my experience as a yoga teacher, breathwork
and trauma release practitioner, and somatic body-based therapist, I began
developing approaches that integrate both the mind and body, a balanced
combination of bottom-up and top-down methods.
Through
working with hundreds of clients over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion
for bridging ancient wisdom with modern science. I’m committed to exploring and
sharing practices that dissolve outdated patterns, regulate the nervous system,
and help others align their inner state with the external world they wish to
experience. My goal is to guide people in leading more authentic, connected,
and present lives, where they can break free from unconscious cycles and create
meaningful, lasting change.
