Bridgett Winters, MA, LMHCA is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist Associate and the founder of Afterspace, a social wellness practice rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection—both with ourselves and with others. Through Afterspace, Bridgett offers a mix of in-person and online experiences including therapeutic groups, community events, and individual therapy, all centered on cultivating emotional depth, relational resilience, and authentic belonging.
With a background in mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling and extensive training in group facilitation, Bridgett brings a warm, grounded presence and a deep respect for the human experience to every space she holds. Her work is relational at its core—geared toward those who crave richer self-understanding, healthier communication, and more connected lives. Whether you're in a group circle, at a community gathering, or in a one-on-one session, Bridgett offers insightful reflections, respectful challenges, and practical tools that meet you where you are.
At Afterspace, she creates inclusive, shame-free environments where people can show up fully and feel both supported and stretched. Her approach draws from mindfulness, somatics, social justice frameworks, and evidence-based practices to support sustainable, embodied change. She works with individuals, couples, and fellow healing professionals, and is especially passionate about helping people navigate conflict, rebuild trust in relationships, and reconnect with their inner compass.
Outside of sessions, Bridgett is a movement enthusiast, devoted plant caretaker, and a cozy-at-heart human who brings authenticity and compassion to everything she does. Bridgett is continually inspired by the courage it takes to be real with one another—and sees every interaction as a chance to foster that kind of brave connection.
