The British New Zealand Business Association (BNZBA) was established in 1917 and is an independent not-for-profit membership organisation that is a member of the British Chambers of Commerce Global Business Network. Members range from individuals and SME’s through to global multinationals in both countries, spanning many sectors and industries.
The BNZBA’s mission is to drive the growth in bilateral trade and investment between the two countries, creating opportunities for our members, facilitating country and industry knowledge sharing, and helping create valuable business and personal networks. This is achieved by working with the New Zealand and UK governments, our partners and our members to deliver activities and opportunities throughout the year.
Within our activities we have a number of key themes – international trade including the optimisation for our members of the implementation of the Free Trade Agreement between the UK and New Zealand, the sharing of intellectual capital between the two countries including in sustainability, green innovation and the digitalisation of business, and how both countries are approaching the future of work.
