The Sanctuary is our dream and our life purpose.
We had talked about living 'on land' for at least 20 years before we were able to purchase The Sanctuary in 2018. Our idea was to have a focus and passion once our sons left home. We wanted a more active lifestyle. We wanted to grow food and to live as lightly on the planet as we could. This is a big DREAM but we're sticking to the plan.
We have followed permaculture principles in our home gardening for 3 decades and the 83 acres of The Sanctuary gives us plenty of space to implement at scale.
We absolutely LOVE to share The Sanctuary, to host visitors, to nurture, care for and hold space for people. The more we share this place the better it feels, and helps reconcile the privilege of being the current custodians of this nature.
Bronwyn is a nature based occupational therapist, certified forest therapy guide and permaculture designer. Russell is a building designer, artist and army musician of almost 40 years.
We've been married for 30 years and have known each other our entire lives. The Sanctuary is our forever home and we will be so thrilled to share it with you.
