Brookline For the Culture (BFTC) is a black woman led organization dedicated to celebrating the diversity, culture, and lived experiences of Brookline residents. Through cultural celebrations, educational programming, community events, mutual aid, and advocacy, BFTC works to create spaces where people of all backgrounds feel seen, welcomed, and connected.
Our work centers historically underrepresented communities while bringing neighbors together through events such as Juneteenth, Pride, Hispanic Heritage Month, Arab Heritage Month, and other opportunities for cultural learning and celebration. We believe that building a stronger Brookline means creating meaningful opportunities for connection, honoring the many cultures that make up our community, and ensuring that everyone has a sense of belonging.
