Bob Stevenson is a UK-born writer, comedian, producer, broadcaster and comedy promoter (and occasionally, an actor).
Since taking the comedy mic in 2019, Bob has performed stand- up comedy around Australia and to audiences around the world — including sold-out shows at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, as well as gigs in London’s West End, Auckland, Bozeman (Montana), Hawaii, and also the iconic Tokyo Comedy Bar in Japan.
Beyond performing, Bob is deeply involved in Australia’s live comedy scene.
The monthly stand-up comedy shows he produces at Quakers Brewery in Manly Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches regularly play to sold out rooms.
As Production Director of The Australian Comedy Festival tour 2026, he has produced and managed professional stand-up comedy shows at some of the most iconic venues around Sydney and regional NSW, bringing together some of the country’s top comedic talent.
His reputation for running high-quality, crowd-pleasing events has made him a trusted name among both comedians and venues.
Bob was also the creator and host of “The Comedy Hour”, a weekly radio program dedicated to showcasing stand-up talent and behind-the-scenes stories from the comedy circuit.
With his mix of international experience, local passion, and a genuine love for laughter, Bob continues to help audiences discover great comedy — one show at a time.
