My name is Samantha McBride, a Southland-based Health & Wellness Coach, group facilitator, and aviation Safety Manager. I’ve spent years working directly with rural men across Southland and Otago, in woolsheds, workshops, hangars, on farms, and in community halls - helping them get “unstuck” and build happier, healthier lives.
I’m also beginning a PhD with the University of Otago, focused on improving mental wellbeing for rural men through stress mindset interventions and group coaching. My work is grounded in research, shaped by lived experience in rural sectors, and proven through the workshops I’ve already delivered.
