The Mount Alexander Bushfire Recovery Team supports individuals, families, businesses, and communities affected by the January 2026 bushfires. Working as part of Mount Alexander Shire Council, the team helps connect people with recovery services, information, funding opportunities, wellbeing support, and community-led recovery initiatives.
Through workshops, information sessions, community events, and recovery programs, the team aims to support recovery, strengthen resilience, and help communities rebuild and thrive. We work closely with residents, local organisations, government agencies, and service providers to ensure our fire-affected communities remain informed, connected, and supported throughout their recovery journey
