Hi! My name is Genevieve and I'm the creative owner of Byperica Stitch and Bling.
Around 2012 I was looking for jeans with designs and bling on them. When I couldn't find any, I thought 'Why don't I make them myself?'
Then I started thinking, well if I like dragons etc on jeans, surely others would too, and my home based business was born.
Since 2017 I've sold my upcycled denim clothing at markets around the Perth metropolitan area.
For the last couple of years, I have been making bags from denim scraps, bits of old jeans or jeans that people have given me that are beyond repair, as well as using up all the test stitch outs that I do when testing a new machine embroidery design or colour change.
Now I've decided to start teaching others how to turn that old pair of jeans or denim skirt into a fun, upcycled bag.
