Capital Punishment Justice Project (CPJP - formerly Reprieve Australia) is an Australian based NGO that stands for a world without the death penalty or other forms of state-sanctioned killing — in all circumstances for all people.
We are a not-for-profit human rights organisation made up predominantly of passionate legal experts and campaigners who volunteer their time to develop legal and policy solutions that help save lives.
CPJP works closely with our partner organisations, volunteers, the Australian public and key stakeholders to support the defence of people facing the death penalty, assist local anti-death penalty civil society organisations, and campaign to convince governments to abolish the death penalty.
