Carissa George is a Brisbane-based artist, theatre nurse and Master of Justice student whose work explores themes of identity, resilience, healing and self-discovery.
Through mixed-media and contemporary figurative painting. Carissa creates collections that invite reflection on personal growth, courage and the freedom to choose our own path.
Her upcoming solo exhibition, Autonomy, explores self-belief, autonomy and the quiet process of reclaiming oneself through choice, healing and connection.
