Carla Shute is the heart behind Life In Bloom, creating meaningful experiences that invite people to slow down, feel supported and reconnect with what matters most.
Based on Yuwi Country in the Mackay region, Carla is a certified Sylvotherapist and Forest Bathing guide, trauma-aware facilitator, authorised marriage & funeral celebrant, with more than 15 years of experience supporting people through significant moments, transitions and seasons of life.
Specialising in Guided Nature Immersions inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, Carla draws on her training in Sylvotherapy and Forest Bathing to gently weave together sensory activities, noble silence, gentle movement, narrative meditation, intentional herbal tea offerings and thoughtful invitations. Her experiences are unhurried, welcoming and designed to help guests reconnect more deeply with themselves, with nature and with the present moment.
There is no expectation to perform, keep up, or share more than feels comfortable. Everything is offered as an invitation, allowing each person the freedom to participate in a way that feels natural and right for them.
Carla thoughtfully blends evidence-informed wellbeing practices with creativity, warmth and a deep respect for country, community and the living world. Small groups, genuine connection and thoughtful care for each guest are at the heart of everything she offers.
Whether you are seeking rest, reflection, connection, a nervous-system reset, or a meaningful way to honour one of life’s important moments, you are invited to come exactly as you are.
Leave feeling steadier, softer, nourished and a little more connected... to yourself, to others and to the world around you.
