This concert is to raise as much money as possible for Prostate Cancer Research at Southend Hospital. Both Carol and Trevor run Jazz825 every Wednesday along with Simon and Cathy Harwood at The Park Inn. Southend on Sea.Trevor who is a sufferer of Prostate Cancer has put on concerts in the Southend area for over 40 years. Imtiaz Ahmed is Trevors Oncologist and is one of the top oncologists in the country and works at Southend Hospital as well other hospitals in the area and a London Hospital. He has managed to get money raised this evening to be ring fenced to be used for research at Southend Hospital.
There will be bands from all genres of music from The Bach Choir, The Anandadhara Group, The Onedines, Mandala , The Orpheus Male Voice Choir, Lele Bisocca and the wonderful Catherine Lima.
We have many fantastic prizes donated for the raffle such as tickets for Southend Football club, Spa day at The Atheneum, tickets for the Adventure Island and The Sea life centre and the obligatory cuddly toys. Case of Champagne, Meal for two at Leigh Bistro. 2 amazing LP's and many more . Raffle tickets will be £5 per line.
