Casa Aluna: A Circular Sanctuary for Presence
"Casa Aluna was born from our family’s deep intention: to create a sanctuary in Wonga Park where time stands still and the body can, at last, find rest. Our Yurt is a space of primordial geometry—a circular design without corners where energy flows infinitely. We chose this shape because the circle naturally invites us into unity and introspection; it is a space where every point is equidistant from the center, embracing us and facilitating a gentle return to balance.
We honor the name Aluna, which in the wisdom of the Kogui people represents the generative force of the universe and the mind of Mother Earth. We feel this vision resonates deeply with the wisdom of First Nations peoples across all lands, who share the understanding that the Earth is a living, conscious tapestry. Casa Aluna is a tribute to this shared heritage: a place to honor lineage, to listen to our surroundings, and to connect with the spirit that dwells within all things.
Upon arrival, we invite you to leave your shoes at the threshold and, with them, any weight you no longer need to carry. In this space of sacred hospitality, nature dictates the rhythm of what happens within, allowing the heartbeat of the world to sync with your own pulse. Casa Aluna is, above all, an honest refuge to remember your true essence and reconnect with the natural cycles that link us back to the source."
