From humble origins of filthy dive bars and derelict garage gigs, CATPISS has curated a community of fun loving fanatics who repeatedly turn up, buy shirts branded with their seemingly vulgar name and rip in to their distinctive brand of punk, with elements of hardcore and nu-metal.
They've earned the right to call themselves a live band proving show after show they have the chops to tango with the crème de la crème sharing the stage the likes of C.O.F.F.I.N, Battlesnake, The Hard-ons and These New South Whales, as well as playing festivals such as BIGSOUND & THRASHVILLE.
CATPISS cemented themselves with their debut EP, Blood, Sweat & Beers, proving their roots in their OG party-punk style. Over the years, the band developed their sound, incorporating heavier, harder and harsher elements as they drew further inspiration from hardcore and metal. Since then, they’ve been entrancing Australian audiences with their delectable debut album, TASTE THE PISS. Through it all, the band maintain their enduring catchphrase:
