Dr Taylor Szyska is a postdoctoral researcher in synthetic biology in the Australian Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology. Her work aims to improve agricultural productivity.
Dr Graham Hobba is the Chief Scientist at Cauldron, a start-up based in Orange that helps scientists create the raw ingredients needed to make new forms of food and materials.
Dr Denys Villa Gomez, also with the Australian Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology, explores how to sustainably recovery metals from mining waste using synthetic biology. She also researches the ability of synthetic biology to rehabilitate mining sites.
