The Children’s Book Council is an Australia-wide organisation which aims to foster children’s enjoyment of books. On a national level, the organisation manages the annual Children’s Book of the Year Awards and Children’s Book Week® to focus on quality children’s literature for young Australians.
The Qld Branch is organised by volunteers and aims to highlight the importance of reading through our commitment to community outreach programs and organising the annual state wide Readers Cup competition.
