The purpose of the Connected Equine Development and Relationship Center is to increase access to animal-assisted therapy services. This organization is dedicated to the rescue of starved, abused, neglected, injured, sick, feral or slaughter-bound horses and other animals to heal, rehabilitate, and/or train them for the primary purpose of placement in animal-assisted therapy programs. In this way, the organization seeks to increase beneficial human and equine relationships through therapy, education, outreach, and community engagement.
