No, I’m not the drummer of The Rolling Stones!

Charlee Watt is a captivating performer whose world truly is a stage. Her unwavering commitment to the arts — both for herself and others — has led to some remarkable accomplishments.

From an early age, music has been Charlee’s constant companion. Years of dedicated study and performance have shaped her into a polished artist, with no signs of slowing down. Her trajectory reflects not only talent but drive: from training with vocal legends to earning prestigious scholarships, she continues to push her creative limits.

At just 16, Charlee was awarded the Nathaniel O’Brien Class of Cabaret scholarship in 2021, gaining mentorship from seasoned cabaret professionals. Her standout performance earned her the title of “One to Watch,” and she’s since mentored aspiring performers, paying forward the support she received.

In 2022, Charlee premiered Both Sides Now — a Fringe show that sold out before opening. In 2023, she returned with Make Your Own Kind of Music, a celebration of iconic 70s sounds. Her 2024 hit, Beating Up The Beatles, featured a jazz quartet, earned glowing 5-star reviews, and marked her biggest show to date. That same year, she received both the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe “Encore” Award and the Adelaide Critics Circle Emerging Artist Award.

In 2025, Charlee continued to shine in Beating Up The Beatles, taking home a Weekly Fringe Award and the Matt Tarrant “One to Watch” Award at the Adelaide Fringe.

This year is already off to a flying start: Charlee and an 11-piece band are opened the SALT Festival with She Rocks: Love, Lyrics and Legacies, a tribute to Australian women in music since the ’70s. In May, she’ll return to the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe with her FAB4 band to premiere Caffeine Fiend, a brand new show she’ll soon take into the studio for recording.

Thanks to the Carclew Arts Fellowship, Charlee is also reimagining her debut Fringe show under the fresh new title Charlee Watt – Somebody Groovy.

Charlee’s story is one of boundless creativity, constant evolution, and an unshakable passion for live performance.

Follow her on socials to stay in the loop — there’s plenty more to come.
