Chris is a musician and bhakti yogi based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia
He plays acoustic guitar both upright and his own sitar inspired lap slide style, as well as Indian bamboo flutes (bansuri's). These flutes have an earthy but ethereal tone, and are open holed so have the potential of great expression and beauty. Chris is also a vocalist and sings mainly mantras but infuses English songs that give the music an extra accessibility to a wider audience. He is a founding member of Australian band OKA, toured worldwide with Xavier Rudd for 18 months and has been playing devotional music for many years.
