Driven by a love of dark fantasy and immersive visual worlds, we create experiences that blur the lines between performance and creature, stage and screen, beauty and horror. Through aerial arts, movement, prosthetic makeup design and transformation, we aim to build worlds that feel alive long after the curtain falls.
At it's core Cirque Obscura stands for artistic collaboration, bringing together creatives from across multiple industries within Australia to create something larger than any other independent circus production.
