Clairy Laurence is a Brisbane-based Ceramic Artist best known for her ethereal figurative sculptures. Her creations are reflections, captured moments, and 'portrait busts' that depict a world occupied by allegory, myth, and symbolism, brought to life by combining hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.

With over 35 years of experience in the field, Clairy has become a respected figure in the Australian ceramic art community. Growing up in a family of potters and artists, she was surrounded by creativity from a young age and developed a deep appreciation for the art form. Recently, Clairy opened Field Trip, a contemporary art gallery in Paddington, further contributing to the local art scene.
