We are sisters, Lily and Grace Richardson, aka CLEWS. We grew up in regional NSW to a soundtrack of '90s pop and rock anthems, and harmony singing in our DNA. Relocating to Sydney and arriving on the scene with our 2018 single ‘Museum’, we have continued to invite a growing family of fans into our world of lyrically-sophisticated songs that mine themes of growing up, moving away, and learning to love.
We’ve worked hard to be a live act that leaves nothing on the field. We’ve sold out headline shows around Australia and toured with DMA’S, Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley, Holy Holy, LAUREL (UK), and Albert Hammond Jnr (USA). We showcased at BIGSOUND (2018), released our debut EP Loveluck Omens (2021) with strong editorial support from triple J and all DSPs, placed as a Top 40 finalist in Vanda and Young songwriting competition (Crushed, 2021), produced a popular 2 series podcast (LOVE CLEWS) and followed up with another EP Love Prank (2024). We toured the UK in 2019, followed up with a self-funded 10 date tour of the UK and Europe in 2023, then again with our dear friend Annie Hamilton in 2024.
November 2025 marks the release of our debut album 'What's Not To Love?'
