Climate Action Newcastle is a not for profit and non-aligned community group, working to educate and empower households, government and industry to take climate action. We advocate tried and tested solutions. We are a not-for-profit association, registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC).
CAN’s goals are to:
reduce greenhouse gas emissions
motivate our community to take action towards a clean energy future
be a trusted local voice on climate change issues
sustain and grow CAN as an inclusive membership organisation
