Clive Mason is a Deaf native signer with decades of experience in BSL media, translation, and education. He became widely recognised for his long-standing role as presenter and reporter on the BBC’s See Hear. For many years he has been a Registered Sign Language Translator (RSLT) and is currently an Associate Lecturer at University College London (UCL) Centre for Languages & International Education. Clive has also taught at City University London, the University of Wolverhampton, and the University of Bristol’s Centre for Deaf Studies. He regularly delivers CPD workshops on sign language, translation, and interpreting, both online and face to face, supporting interpreters and translators to strengthen their skills and professional practice.
