Clive Mason is a Deaf native BSL user, Registered Sign Language Translator (RSLT), trainer and educator with decades of experience in BSL media, translation and interpreting-related training. He is widely recognised for his long-standing role as a presenter and reporter on the BBC’s See Hear, and has worked across broadcast, translation, education and professional training. Clive is currently an Associate Lecturer at University College London (UCL), Centre for Languages & International Education. He has also taught at City University London, the University of Wolverhampton and the University of Bristol’s Centre for Deaf Studies. His CPD workshops are practical, reflective and accessible. They support interpreters, translators, trainee professionals and organisations to strengthen visual BSL, ethical decision-making, cultural competence and professional confidence. Clive also offers one-to-one mentoring for BSL interpreters, BSL translators and trainee professionals, tailored to individual learning goals. |
