ColourFull Abilities acknowledges there is a gap in society in caring for individuals within the Disability and LGBTQIA+ communities. We provide support in a culturally safe and affirming way to people who are engaged with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our aim is to both provide individual support and to raise wider societal awareness. At the same time, we strive to build a culture of safe and affirming practices within mainstream disability services in South Australia.
Currently our focus is on unceded Kaurna Land.
We focus on providing a safe space for people to be themselves, while increasing social and community participation for NDIS participants in LGBTQIA+ communities and providing them with support in their homes.
