Comhaltas Sydney is the Sydney branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, an international non-profit cultural organisation devoted to promoting and preserving Irish traditional music, dance, song and culture. The Sydney group brings these traditions to life in Australia’s largest city through events, education, social gatherings and community involvement.
The branch is affiliated with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (CCÉ), the main global movement (founded in Ireland in 1951) focused on sustaining Irish traditional culture worldwide.
