The Community Housing Industry Association NSW (CHIA NSW) is the voice of not-for-profit community housing providers (CHPs) in NSW. Our members own or manage more than 54,000 rental homes across NSW for individuals and families who cannot afford to rent or purchase a home on the private market.
CHIA NS's policy priorities advocate for a housing system that changes lives. By supporting our members we help advance community housing in NSW.
Since 2012, CHPs have delivered nearly 5,800 new homes across NSW, representing an investment of over $2 billion. This investment is backed by the National Regulatory System for Community Housing, which provides confidence and assurance of a sustainable, well-managed, and well-governed community housing industry.
