Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust (CWNC) is a community-led organisation dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of whānau across North Canterbury. We work alongside people with care, respect, and a strengths-based approach, recognising each person’s mana and walking together toward positive change.
Our vision is for a thriving, equitable community where all people have the opportunity to live with dignity, connection, and hope. We are committed to creating spaces where whānau feel supported, valued, and empowered to achieve their goals.
Our services include social work support, mental health and wellbeing services, food security initiatives, and community programmes that respond to local needs. Grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, we are committed to partnership, equity, and inclusive practice in all that we do.
At CWNC, we believe strong communities are built through connection, compassion, and collaboration. We are privileged to work alongside individuals, whānau, volunteers, and partners to strengthen wellbeing and create positive, lasting change.
