Welcome to Consciousness Collective, a conversation circle dedicated to exploring and integrating the profound effects of altered states. This space is open to anyone interested—whether you have firsthand experience or are just beginning to explore. Here, we come together to share stories, connect over shared journeys, and support each other in understanding and integrating these moments of insight.
In our modern, fast-paced world, altered states can offer a renewed sense of purpose, authenticity, and well-being. Yet, without a community to connect with, these transformations can feel isolating. Traditional cultures often guide such experiences, but in today’s Western context, we may lack supportive spaces to explore them. Consciousness Collective fills this gap—providing a welcoming space to discuss and navigate these transformative experiences right here in Canberra.
About your host:
My name is Akash and I’m the founder of Consciousness Collective.
Spirituality has been integral to my life for the past few years. Until COVID-19, my life typically revolved around the corporate world, business, and technology. In 2020, I began reading about philosophy and was fascinated by concepts involving life, meaning, purpose, morality, metaphysics, and more. As I went down the philosophical rabbit hole, I delved into Western and Eastern schools of thought to deepen my understanding of the self and my sense of reality.
Since then, I have surrendered myself to more experiences that invoke an altered sense of being, experiences that have changed my life for the better. Feeling the need to share these experiences with others, I sought communities of like-minded people in the hope of finding others who have felt the same things, either through meditation, breathwork, psychedelics, yoga, or any other practice. Of course, learning these insights is one thing, integrating them into daily life is another. That’s where conversations and communities can make a difference.
This is where Consciousness Collective can bridge the gap between thoughts and words, between isolation and community.
Join me in navigating this space together!
