Cooper has been a Youth Worker for 18yrs and spent 2yrs working with transgender young people from 2019-2021 at Te Tahi Youth. They are a current member of the Professional Association of Transgender Health Aotearoa, and Rerenga Awa. They have been featured speaking on transgender issues on local podcasts and provided transgender health education to local hospitals and medical centers.
Eliot Forrest is a transgender young person who has life experience with hormone blockers and is a rainbow and disability advocate and policy advisor. They currently are a Policy Advisor for Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ).
