The COP Universities Alliance is an initiative between leading Australian and Pacific universities to coordinate the efforts and contribution of the Australia-Pacific higher education and research sector towards COP31 and beyond.
The USP Centre for Sustainable Futures was established to consolidate expertise, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and foster a comprehensive approach to training and research in addressing complex climate issues. It consolidates four existing institutions into one climate finance and resilience teaching and research institute. It has also integrated the climate change-related scholarship programme and some existing programmes from other USP schools, such as the School of Agriculture, Geography, Environment, Ocean and Natural Sciences.
The UNSW Institute for Climate Risk and Response (ICRR) is a cross-disciplinary hub for climate risk research and training.
Melbourne Climate Futures (MCF) connects and amplifies the depth and breadth of University of Melbourne research, creates a portal to share ideas and collaborate on real action, and empowers the next generation of climate activists.
