Creative Ecologies Research Cluster

Creative Ecologies Research Cluster at UniSC is a dynamic collective that supports researchers to explore how creative practice can have meaningful impact in local and global communities. The cluster has an interdisciplinary focus with creative practice research working at the intersections of health and well-being, emerging technologies, ecological engagement, and regenerative design.  

Creative Ecologies leverages our unique geographic location as the only region in the world with three adjacent biosphere reserves. Our approach is interdisciplinary, collaborative, and led by practitioners who are actively engaged in global creative discourse. Our research portfolio, responsive to complex societal challenges, is enriched by sustainable, culturally sensitive methodologies that respect Indigenous protocols under the guidance of a First Nations Advisory Group.
