I am trained in L1/L2 IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapy and L1 EM (Effortless Mindfulness). But if I am honest, those trainings are not where I have learnt the most about healing. I have learnt the most about healing from my own suffering.
In my life, I have experienced multiple traumas. I truly know the deep pain of suffering in isolation. I was also born with wounds of shame and loneliness, that I inherited from my ancestors. These wounds are at the root of what modern psychology calls ‘OCD’ (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) or as I like to call it… my obsessive and compulsive defences.
Through many years of inner work, I have learnt how to be with and hold space for complex protective systems. And my parts have learnt to trust my loving energy when vulnerability arises, in myself and with others.
