David has a passion for electrification and a deep understanding of the technology required to achieve energy independence.
He electrified his first home, and acquired his first EV, in 2019. The driving factor for this was to reduce his household’s emissions, however he was also amazed by the cost savings delivered and the improved comfort of his home.
Since 2019, he has helped to guide numerous households through the process of integrating solar power, battery storage, heat pumps and electric vehicles into their daily lives.
Recognising that the transition to new technologies can be daunting and complex, David went on to found My Energy Guide, an independent resource assisting others on their journey to a cost efficient and sustainable future.
