Domestic Violence Community Education (DVCE) is a service which aims to increase the community's ability to appropriately respond to domestic and family violence by raising awareness and understanding through education and community development projects.
DVCE Offers:
- Tailored workshops, seminars and information sessions for professionals, organisations and other members of the community.
- Support with community development activities.
Education workshops are interactive, informative and can be developed to meet the needs of each group.
Community Education
Community education workshops on domestic and family violence can be provided for government and non-government organisations and community groups such as, but not limited to:
- Counsellors
- Mediators
- Police
- Nurses
- Youth workers
- Social workers
- Volunteers
- Parents
- Arts workers
- Legal Practitioners
- Community Health Services
- Women's Health Services
- Alcohol and Other Drug Services
- Students and teachers (Secondary & Tertiary)
