Dead Head Redemption formed in late 2023 around the swampy suburb of Warra/Sandgate in northern Meanjin/Brisbane.
Combining the mosquito-bitten vibes of the swamp with elements of outlaw country, dirty blues, and pure rock n' roll, these varmints soon found true purpose in highway disruption. First bullet out of the barrel was This Ain't My Town, released in March 2025, and broke into the 4ZZZ top 10 in its 2nd week, having debuted at 17. Already a crowd favourite, the full studio release was received with gusto. Two more singles, Runnin' & The Thief followed up quick smart, with all three soon after released on a limited-edition vinyl EP.
The back half of 2025 and the first of '26 has been packed full of shows all around Brisbane, Ipswich, and both Coasts, and their first album The Wendigo Hunters is due to release around September, stars willing.
Whether it's melting faces or causing mayhem at, DHR are the cabrónes of bolt-action entertainment.
