Deaf Arts Residency (DAR) is a Deaf-led collective supporting Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing artists through residencies, exhibitions, workshops and public programming. Rooted in Naarm (Melbourne), on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Boonwurrung lands, DAR centres Auslan as a primary language of artistic expression and critical dialogue.
We champion bold, collaborative and culturally rich work that challenges norms and disrupts barriers in the arts. Our events are grounded in access, inclusion and community — with Auslan at the heart of every experience.
