Delhuntie is a not-for-profit charity that has been operating innovative programs for releasing addictions, pain and trauma since 1975, almost 50 years!
First established in West Gippsland of Victoria, Australia, by the late Elwyn Scale and his dear wife Helen Scale, Delhuntie has gone on to set up a new park in Bulahdelah, Mid Coast NSW, as well as in numerous countries around the world. Delhuntie also operate a mobile program called ‘The Pinnacle’, enabling Delhuntie to travel to remote regions of Australia to help isolated youth.
From underground tunnel mazes to 100m high giant swings, to old army tanks once used for killing now used for saving lives…Delhuntie help youth confront and conquer challenges, break free from addictions, bust out of at-risk behaviours and positively reset their lives with tenacity, resilience, self-worth and trust.
Delhuntie has also seen lives changed in dramatic ways for offenders and juveniles, with high non-reoffending rates and acclimations of success from the Australian Federal Police, Department of Communities and Justice, Youth Justice NSW and the PCYC.
