I strive to bring compassion, empathy and warmth in my work with clients. I have found that the heart of therapeutic work lies in working alongside someone who instills a sense of safety, creating space to explore and process through strengths and challenges in life. I use a non-judgemental approach while working alongside clients to find ways to change and grow, while also celebrating accomplishments- big and small.
I am a psychotherapist with a Master’s of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I have experience working in a variety of settings including social services, hospitals, and outpatient services. I have found my passion in helping individuals navigate challenges to become the best version of themselves.
I view all clients through a strengths-based and trauma-informed lens. I believe that the environments and systems in which we live have a significant impact on our wellness, and I take a holistic approach when working with individuals. I use concepts and techniques from various therapeutic modalities including humanistic, feminist, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), attachment-based therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to help guide healing by integrating cognitive, physical, and spiritual elements of the self.
