Devoted to Disco is the inspired creation of London-born, Sydney-based recording artist/disco diva Clio.
“I’m furious I wasn’t part of the golden era of disco the first time round - partying at Studio 54, draped in Halston and Bob Mackie, with Elton John on my arm and collaborating with Nile Rodgers. I’ve spent the last few years performing at and visiting various club nights and events in Sydney and I haven’t found one that truly satisfies my disco-loving soul, so I decided to create it myself!
My dream for Devoted to Disco is to uplift and unite all ages, persuasions and walks of life on the dance floor, celebrating life and love under a giant disco ball. I want to create a safe space where everyone can feel inspired to be themselves. Expect a night of non-stop disco classics - no house music, just glitter, good vibes and the classic, timeless grooves that make you sing out loud and dance till you drop.”
