Step into a world where the music is timeless, the energy is electric, and the dance floor is a sanctuary of joy! Devoted to Disco is more than just a nightclub event - it’s a celebration of life, love, and the golden era of disco.
Devoted to Disco is the inspired creation of London-born, Sydney-based recording artist, singer, and disco diva Clio.
“I’m furious I wasn’t part of the golden era of disco the first time round - partying at Studio 54, draped in Halston and Bob Mackie, with Elton John on my arm and collaborating with Nile Rodgers. I’ve spent the last few years performing at and visiting various club nights and events in Sydney and I haven’t found one that truly satisfies my disco-loving soul, so I decided to create it myself!
My dream for Devoted to Disco is to uplift and unite all ages, persuasions and walks of life on the dance floor, celebrating life and love under a giant disco ball. I want to create a safe space where everyone can feel inspired to be themselves. Expect a night of non-stop disco classics - no house music, just glitter, good vibes and the classic, timeless grooves that make you sing out loud and dance till you drop.”
With a stellar DJ playing all of your favourite 70s and 80s disco classics, plus some legendary live performances, Devoted to Disco channels the glittering soul of Studio 54, inviting you to hit the dance floor in whatever makes you feel fabulous - we want you at your biggest and brightest self expression!
Forget the pressures of "cool" club scenes - Devoted to Disco is about pure, unfiltered FUN. No egos, no judgment, and no need for anything but the music to lift you higher. So dress up and get ready to sing out and dance the night away.
Our events are a space for everyone. We celebrate diversity and inclusivity, with zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, sexism or violence. Only open hearts, creative minds, and dancing shoes belong on this dance floor!
