DHAWURA NGILAN IN ACTION: INVESTOR WORKSHOP
The Dhawura Ngilan Business and Investor Initiative invites you to a practical training workshop on how to align investment practices with First Nations expectations for cultural heritage protection, including the right to Free, Prior and Informed Consent.
Discover how to apply the twenty Dhawura Ngilan Business and Investor Principles that represent leading practice in cultural heritage management across due diligence, stewardship, and disclosure. This is your opportunity to engage with leading experts in this field and interact with others who are also going on this journey, including through insights from leading Indigenous experts, asset managers and interactive group activities.
This full-day workshop is designed for investors—including employees at mid-senior levels from superannuation funds, banks, fund managers, venture capital funds and impact investors — to deepen their understanding of, and practical insights into, how to responsibly engage with and protect First Nations cultural heritage.
The Initiative is led by the First Nations Heritage Protection Alliance (FNHPA) in partnership with Responsible Investment Association Australiasia (RIAA) and UN Global Compact Network Australia.
